Fujitsu warns ScanSnap owners not to use scanners with Sierra until major bug fixed
Fujitsu has taken the rather extreme step of warning owners of its entire ScanSnap scanner range to cease using the device if they are on macOS Sierra until a major bug is fixed. The bug can result in scanned pages being turned into blank pages, and even existing scanned pages can be deleted in some circumstances.

We’ve been hearing for some time now that Apple is working on an all-glass front for next year’s iPhone, with the Home button and Touch ID sensor built into the display itself. The touch-sensitive Home button on the iPhone 7 is likely intended as a stepping stone toward that goal, and an Apple patent published back in May described the technology Apple is most likely to adopt: ultrasonic imaging.

Upcoming YouTube Go app minimizes data usage with previews, quality controls, phone-to-phone transfer
If you love watching YouTube videos on the move but hate large data bills, Google has good news for you: it is introducing YouTube Go, an app specifically designed to minimize mobile data usage.
The bad news is that YouTube Go will initially be available only in India, but the company has said that it will be rolled out to other countries later, and hinted that both the U.S. and Europe are on the list.

MLB At Bat app adds video highlights in Notification Center, club stickers, more
Major League Baseball has updated its MLB At Bat to provide direct access to video highlights from the Notification Center – provided you have an iPhone which supports 3D Touch. When you see a notification on your lock screen, you can 3D Touch it to play the video – though you do have to unlock your phone to view it.

Apple schedules Q4 2016 earnings call livestream for October 27
As it normally does before earnings calls, Apple noted on its investor news webpage this evening that it will hold its fourth quarter earnings call on October 27th. The call will be held at the standard time of 2PM PT/5PM ET, with the earnings release itself being sent out roughly thirty minutes before then.

Drake launches Apple Music exclusive short film as Views becomes first album to hit 1 billion streams
Having come a long way from the awkward Apple Music onstage presence at WWDC, Drake’s relationship with Apple has seemingly only been on the up and up for the entertainer. From releasing a surprise mixtape on iTunes last year, to an exclusive stream of Views, all the way down to his own Beats 1 radio show. It looks like Drake shows no signs of stopping.
After teasing it on his Instagram (and then removing it) it looks like Drake’s short film, Please Forgive Me, is now available to stream exclusively on Apple Music. Potentially riding off that high, the artist also shared a picture on Instagram commemorating Apple Music’s largest stream count for an album ever.

You shouldn’t get the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case wet, but that didn’t stop this developer from putting it to the test
The iPhone 7 is Apple’s first officially water resistant phone. We put this water resistance to the test on video in our recent post about the top iPhone 7 features. Some people have also wondered how cases might fare when subjected to water. A case like Apple’s iPhone 7 Silicon Case would be okay, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend submerging Apple’s iPhone 7 Leather Case.
What about the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case? It features the same material used in the silicon case, yet includes a 2365 mAh battery sealed inside. Is it safe to get the Smart Battery Case wet? Apple’s official response to that question is a very unambiguous no. Yet, that didn’t stop AirParrot Remote developer, Squirrels, from testing the limits of the case’s potential water resistance while on a company retreat.
