IBM has announced the next step in its continued implementation of support for Apple’s Swift. The company announced in a blog post recently that Swift is officially available on the server, inducing the Bluemix Runtime for the development language.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo at KGI Securities is out today with a new note concerning demand for the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Ultimately, Kuo says that shipment volume for the iPhone 7 Plus is better than expected, though iPhone 7 shipment volume is lower than that of the iPhone 6s.

The store is located in Vía Santa Fe and marks the “first time customers in Mexico City can experience all of Apple’s products and services in one place.” Apple shared images from the grand opening experience this evening in a news release…

A new discovery by iOS forensics company Elcomsoft has revealed that encrypted iOS backups via iTunes are much easier to crack with iOS 10 than in past years. The change in security is apparently due to a new password verification method in iOS 10.

Snap Inc. CEO Evan Spiegel announced a new set of ‘spectacles’ for the company’s hundreds of millions of young users, in a piece in the WSJ magazine this evening. Coming in at $129, these stereoscopic glasses will, at least initially, take 10 seconds of rounded video (Spiegel argues that the rectangle shape is inherited from the paper photo printing process) and store it wirelessly on your iPhone or Android device for easy sharing.
