Twitter launches new Apple TV app for streaming live video including NFL Thursday Night Football
Just in time for NFL Thursday Night Football (and tvOS 10), Twitter is launching a new Apple TV app for streaming live video to the big screen. It was first reported a month ago that the new app was in the works. The new app will let views watch premium video content like the 10 NFL games that Twitter bought the rights to broadcast, and Twitter content like Top Tweets and Vines will also be accessible.

Concept image shows gorgeous Jet Black AirPods and asks the obvious question … [Poll]
One of our favorite designers, Martin Hajek, has been busy again, this time showing what Apple’s new AirPods would look like in the Jet Black finish used for the iPhone 7.
He poses the obvious question: why did this not happen? Given the huge popularity of the Jet Black finish, despite concerns about scratches, it would have seemed an obvious move to offer the color as an option. NYT corroborates rumors of ‘full-screen face’ 2017 iPhone with embedded Home button
There have been long-standing rumors that Apple is moving toward a Home button embedded in the display of future iPhones, enabling the screen to fill almost the entire front of the device. More recent reports from Bloomberg and the WSJ have specifically suggested that the company will make this move in 2017.
The New York Times is now corroborating these reports with a small paragraph tucked away near the end of its iPhone 7 review …

Video: Apple releases first TV ad for iPhone 7, teasing waterproofing and dual-camera features
The iPhone 7 goes on sale this Friday, September 16. Apple is starting up its marketing machine ahead of the launch of the new phone with a teaser TV commercial, embedded after the jump. The ad is atmospheric, featuring vague disparate shots of lightning bolts, owls and deer … as well as some subtle imagery of the phone itself.
There are som quick shots of the iPhone 7 chassis behind rain drops, teasing its IPX7 waterproofing rating. The iPhone 7 Plus dual-camera system is also briefly visible. Watch the 30 second spot in full below …

Apple stops offering email delivered gift cards in the United States
Apple has long offered the ability for customers to purchase gift cards online and instantly send them to people via email. The company, however, appears to have recently removed the option from its website in the United States. Oddly enough, the email delivery method is still available in other countries.
