Apple has now released iOS 10 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to the public. The free update adds many new features to iOS including a new Messages app with enhanced emoji, stickers, Digital Touch and iMessage apps; third-party app integration with Siri voice queries; redesigned Music and Maps apps with a new visual style and simpler user interfaces; automatic face and object tagging in Photos and much more.

iOS 10 bug will disable Kevo smart lock’s Touch-To-Open feature pending fix from Apple
Kwikset’s popular iPhone-connected Kevo smart lock will temporarily lose some of its smarts as the company reports an iOS 10 bug disables the product’s unique “touch-to-open” feature.
The company has started warning customers of the issue via email ahead of Apple’s iOS 10 software update scheduled for release today.

AirPods review roundup: weird looks, okay sound, really clever tech
With mixed reviews of the iPhone 7, we took a look to see whether the same was true of Apple’s highest-tech headphones, the all-new wireless AirPods with their ultra-slick pairing system facilitated by the W1 chip.
Here, however, we found greater agreement. Everyone was impressed by the instant pairing and by the intelligence in the AirPods – like auto-pausing when you remove them from your ear. Most people seem to agree that the sound quality is distinctly average but acceptable to most. And there’s also widespread agreement that the look is definitely on the dorky side …
