Freemium ‘French Netflix’ service Molotov TV comes to Apple TV ahead of other services

Molotov TV, a popular Netflix alternative in France which combines live and on-demand viewing, has now launched on Apple TV. It’s being touted as an exclusive, though French site iPhone Addict suggests that it’s likely to make it to competitor boxes later.

The service, already available on iPhone and iPad, is a freemium one. The free service offers 35 free-to-air channels – including all the major French networks – plus ten hours of on-demand viewing per month. The paid service, at €9.99/month, adds 37 premium channels, up to 100 hours of on-demand viewing and simultaneous use on up to four screens …

Snapchat introduces new Geostickers feature as another way to customize images and messages

Hot on the heels of a new Snapchat-esque Stories feature coming to Instagram, Snapchat today has announced Geostickers, which is a new feature that gives users yet another way to decorate their snaps. Geostickers are location-based overlays that can be applied to images before they are sent, as well as sent via the messaging feature of Snapchat.

macOS 10.12 Sierra public beta 3 is now available

Following the release of macOS Sierra’s fourth developer beta, Apple has pushed out the third macOS Sierra public beta for non-developer testers. This release should include the new emoji characters introduced to the Mac earlier this week. macOS Sierra brings dozens of new features to the Mac including Siri for the first time.
