Apple releases fifth iOS 9.3.3, OS X 10.11.6, and tvOS 9.2.2 betas to testers
Apple has issued a fifth developer and public beta release of iOS 9.3.3 ahead of its general release. iOS 9.3.3 beta 5 follows the last build issued a week ago which suggests a general release will soon follow. Apple is likely testing iOS 9.3.3 heavily as it could be the last version of iOS 9 before iOS 10 is released later this fall.

Report: Apple now fifth behind local brands in China as iPhone sales decline
Apple lost share of the Chinese smartphone market with a decline in iPhone sales during May, pushing it to fifth place behind local brands Huawei, Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi. The data comes from Counterpoint Research and was published today by Bloomberg.

Awesome Chinese video shows ‘Magsafe’ Lightning adapter for iPhone, similar to delayed Kickstarter
While Apple may now be abandoning the much-loved MagSafe connection in favor of USB on MacBooks, that hasn’t stopped people wanting to bring the same convenience to both 12-inch MacBooks and iPhones. We saw a Kickstarter campaign two years ago (long delayed but apparently now shipping), there are others on eBay and Amazon – and now a Chinese site has shown a particularly cute video for its own version.

Brexit impact will hurt Apple sales, predicts Citigroup, as Dell raises UK prices by 10%
Citigroup Global Markets analyst Jim Suva has predicted that economic uncertainty in the UK following the referendum decision to leave the EU will hurt Apple sales. Business Insider reports that Citigroup has lowered its estimates for iPhone sales across two quarters.

Latest claimed CAD renders may provide a more detailed look at the iPhone 7
Last night, a set of claimed CAD renders of the iPhone 7, consistent with earlier reports began circulating around the Web. They show the same less obtrusive antenna lines, missing headphone jack, enlarged camera hole on the smaller model and dual-camera housing for the larger one.
They don’t reveal anything we haven’t already heard, but – if genuine – do provide a more detailed look than earlier images …
