Phil Schiller announces major changes coming to App Store ahead of WWDC
Apple’s WWDC event kicks off on Monday, but App Store head Phil Schiller is already sharing some major changes coming to the App Store that will impact developers. The SVP of Worldwide Marketing shared the news in an interview with The Verge after gaining new responsibilities as head of the App Store last December.

How to watch Apple’s WWDC 2016 keynote live stream on Windows or Android
Apple last night confirmed it will live stream the opening press event for its Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, but the stream is limited to certain devices. The company will stream the event to iPhone, iPad, and Mac users via its Safari browser, and to Apple TV users, and it’s also recently added support for Windows 10 via Microsoft Edge.

Camera+ 8 adds slow shutter and ultra-low ISO features, action extension, more
The powerful Camera+ app for iPhone and Apple Watch has a big new release today that should further transform the iPhone into a highly capable camera. Camera+ 8 adds slow shutter speeds for as long as 30 seconds, which makes it possible to let the iPhone catch a single scene for longer than a moment and shoot interesting night shots. Camera+ also supports ultra-low ISO levels for playing around with your shot before you take it, but you’ll need a newer iPhone.
Report: ‘Major iTunes overhaul’ to be announced at WWDC alongside Apple Music revamp
Digital Music News is once again reporting that Apple is contemplating removing iTunes downloads for good, focusing solely on its Apple Music streaming service for distribution. Reading between the lines, it sounds like Apple is open to multiple scenarios depending on future market conditions, which could include ditching traditional music download model. However, it doesn’t sound like there are firm plans to do that anytime soon; Apple has already denied similar reports saying ‘It’s not true’.
More interestingly is the report’s take on Apple’s WWDC plans for iTunes. It claims that Apple will unveil a major overhaul of the iTunes app to simplify the core functions of the app (music) and better present the different music offerings Apple has, removing points of confusion about how Apple Music works alongside the iTunes Store.

‘Reliable’ supply chain source says Apple announcing new MacBook Air this month, but probably minor refresh

CIRP data worrying for Apple, shows Americans slower to upgrade their iPhones, half now keep 2+ years
Data from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners shows that iPhone owners are holding onto their phones longer before they upgrade them. Three years ago, almost two-thirds of iPhones in use were just 1-2 years old, but CIRP says that number has now fallen to just 51%.
CIRP attributes the change to a combination of the slowing pace of development and carriers switching from phone-inclusive plans to separate financing for the phone itself …
