Apple seeds fourth tvOS 9.2.1, iOS 9.3.2, & OS X 10.11.5 betas to testers
Apple has released the fourth beta of its iOS 9.3.2 update to both developers and public beta testers today. OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 and tvOS 9.2.1 also saw a fourth beta release for developers today. The latest developer and public betas haven’t seen any major changes as it appears they are turning out to be more bug fix releases than anything. Simultaneous use of Low Power Mode and Night Shift had been reactivated as of iOS 9.3.2 beta 2.

Apple Pay gains over 20 more banks in the US, prepaid ‘boon. by Wirecard’ in the UK
We’re now more than a year and a half out from the launch of Apple Pay — Apple’s iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch-based mobile payment system — in the US, and we’re still seeing additional banks across the country regularly join the roster of participating partners. More than 20 new banks have added Apple Pay support in this round, and a new prepaid card launching in the UK today has also made the list. These are the latest banks to work with Apple Pay:
Opinion: Two factors explain Tim Cook’s optimism versus Wall Street’s pessimism
Tim Cook’s interview on CNBC last night highlighted the huge gulf between his optimistic view of Apple’s future prospects, and the pessimistic one being expressed in both Wall Street commentary and the share price.
The share price speaks for itself. As Business Insider notes, the stock has dropped 11% since Apple announced its first-quarter earnings, and 27% over the past year. Even billionaire investor Carl Icahn – who once couldn’t stop talking about how under-valued AAPL was – sold 7M shares back in February and has now dumped the stock altogether. Not the greatest expression of confidence in the company’s future.
Analysts have been queuing up to pronounce that Apple is doomed, the iPhone is on a slide, it’s all over. Tim Cook, meanwhile, claims that Wall Street is guilty of ‘hugely over-reacting’ to a short-term glitch …

Adobe Photoshop Mix + Fix for iOS gain space-saving feature, full-res Lightroom imports, much more
Adobe’s two Photoshop apps for iOS — Fix and Mix — have both been updated with a handful of new features for iPhone and iPad users. Fix and Mix both gain a new enhancement that should make living with low storage devices much easier, and both apps can now import full resolution images from Lightroom in addition to other new features.

India rejects Apple’s plans to sell used iPhones in the country after opposition by Samsung & others
Bloomberg is reporting that India has refused to grant Apple permission to sell used iPhones in the country, citing a telecommunications ministry official.
The U.S. company’s application has been turned down, the official said, asking to not be identified, citing official policy [while] Apple declined to comment.
Apple had hoped that used iPhone sales would be a good way to get a foothold in a country where its market share is just 2%, and where 80% of phones cost less than $150. Its iPhone Upgrade Program in the United States gave the company a plentiful supply of used phones that it could have sold at much lower prices in India without sacrificing margin, which must have seemed like the perfect plan …
