Apple pushes Q2 2016 earnings call livestream to April 26
[UPDATE: Apple has now said that its reasoning for delaying the earnings call is because of the memorial service for former board member and tech icon Bill Campbell, who passed away this week.]
Apple today has updated its investor relations page to reflect that its second quarter earnings call will now take place on Tuesday, April 26th. Previously, the company had said that it would hold the call on Monday, April 25th.

Review: Qwerkywriter the Bluetooth keyboard that thinks its a typewriter
I’m old enough to have started writing on a typewriter – albeit, as a kid. I couldn’t imagine going back to one now, but there is something rather lovely about the sound and rhythm of the keys. For creative writing, I actually use an app that creates simulated typewriter sounds, simply because I find that puts me in the right mindset.
So when I spotted the Qwerkywriter on Kickstarter ages ago, I always meant to check it out. A recent post on 9to5Toys reminded me about it. From photos, I loved the look. My questions were whether it would look as good in real-life as it does in the photos, whether it would turn out to be a novelty or a serious keyboard – and whether it could possibly justify that $349 price-tag?

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, Apple makes it easy to create an embeddable playlist preview widget via its Apple Music website. All it takes is the share URL from the playlist of your choice, and the widget generator does the rest of the heavy lifting.

Report: Apples negotiations with Daimler & BMW for Titan car project fall apart
It’s been long rumored that Apple has been in negotiations with BMW and Daimler for its electric car project, with Apple perhaps considering using parts from either of the carmakers. Now, German news outlet Handelsblatt reports that talks between Apple, Daimler, and BMW have ended, citing “industry sources.”

Apple releases watchOS 2.2.1 beta 2 to developers
In addition to seeding the second beta of iOS 9.3.2, Apple today has seeded the second beta of watchOS 2.2.1 to developers. The new build comes two weeks after the first beta was released.

Apple releases second OS X 10.11.5 tvOS 9.2.1 betas to developers
Just moments after releasing the second beta of iOS 9.3.2 to developers, Apple has now released a fresh beta of tvOS and OS X. The latest tvOS version released to developers today is 9.2.1 and comes to all developers, while OS X is version 10.11.5.

Apple releases second iOS 9.3.2 beta for iPhone iPad and iPod touch to developers
Two weeks after releasing the first beta, Apple today has released the second developer beta of iOS 9.3.2 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. iOS 9.3.2 is a much smaller update compared to the recent significant iOS 9.3 update that brought about features such as Night Shift and Touch ID notes.
