Your online behavior and location are shared with advertisers 747 times a day – report

Ad tech companies share your online behavior and location with advertisers an average of 747 times a day in the US, and 376 times a day in Europe, according to a report by a civil liberties group. It describes the practice as the biggest privacy breach in the world.

The report says Google is the biggest offender, using a process called real-time bidding (RTB) to let advertisers target internet users by browsing behavior and locations …

Apple reportedly testing color e-ink display technology to use as a second screen for a foldable device

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is exploring the use of color e-ink displays for its future products. Kuo says that color e-ink is particularly well suited to enabling a low-power second screen experience for a foldable form factor device.

Of course, Apple does not currently make a foldable although there have been ongoing rumors that the company is considering designs for a foldable iPad.

Apple now lets apps charge increased prices for auto-renewable subscriptions with limits

Earlier this year, Apple had been testing a new feature to let developers charge increased prices for auto-renewable subscriptions. Although this “pilot program” was restricted to selected developers, Apple is now rolling out these changes to everyone – although it has some limits.
