Starting with watchOS 5, currently in developer beta and likely released in September, Apple Watch Series 1 and higher will finally have its own Podcasts app. For podcast listeners, this update will make cellular connectivity even more compelling and make leaving your iPhone behind a bit easier.

Apple releases iOS 12 beta 12 to fix ‘new iOS update’ alert

You may have heard there’s a new iOS update out and you should update from the beta … every time you unlock your iPhone or iPad. While iOS 12 is technically still in beta, Apple has issued the twelfth developer beta version (and tenth public beta version) to address the pesky alert that started spamming users last night.
New self-powered Philips Hue wall switches on the way, in US and Europe

Philips currently offer two types of wall switch for their Hue devices. There’s the Smart Dimmer Switch, with a form factor close to a standard US wall switch, and the Tap – a self-powered four-button device, with no need for a battery. It’s powered by the kinetic energy generated by pressing the buttons.
It seems that a kind of hybrid version of the two is currently in the works …
