In my last Apple Watch Diary piece, I said that there were two things which might sell me on the idea of upgrading from my Series 3 to the upcoming Series 4. One was a more responsive Siri, but the bigger one was more data on the screen.
Apple may allow more characters in text fields, to display more of an upcoming appointment, for example. That too might be handy. Third […] it could allow more complications. If it did that, I’d be sold straight away.

New App Store rules will require all apps to have a privacy policy

In an announcement to developers through App Store Connect last night, Apple is requiring that all new apps and updates include a link to their developer’s privacy policy in the app metadata. The new rules come into effect from October 3rd.
It seems like even if the app is a plain utility that does not connect to the internet, it must now host a website with a privacy policy page.
YouTube for tvOS updated w/ navigation and scrubbing improvements, more

The controversial YouTube app for tvOS has been updated this evening with some notable performance improvements. The update greatly improves navigation throughout the app, and includes interface tweaks and improvements to scrolling.
