Hands-on w/ UE’s new BOOM & MEGABOOM 3: this summer’s best Bluetooth speaker

This morning, Ultimate Ears announced the follow-up to two of most popular Bluetooth Speakers with the BOOM 3 and MEGABOOM 3. The latest from UE delivers the same bright colors and in your face design, but this isn’t simply a re-branded version of the previous generation. Both speakers feature a new ‘Magic Button’ on top that allows for users to control music and instantly start pre-determined playlists. UE has also completely remodeled its iOS app to include a handful of new features.
I’ve been able to go hands-on with the latest BOOM speakers from UE over the last few weeks. Head below for a quick look and a few thoughts on today’s release.

Apple has just announced the 2018 fall event ‘Gather round’ where the company will announce its new flagship iPhone lineup, the Series 4 Apple Watch, redesigned iPad Pro hardware, and maybe some new Macs. Apple has confirmed on its website that it will indeed livestream the event, from 10 AM PT on September 12, live from the Steve Jobs Theater

Apple announces next iPhone event for September 12: ‘Gather round’

It’s official: Apple will hold its next big event on September 12. Apple issued media invites with the tagline ‘Gather round’ as a teaser today. While three new flagship iPhones and a redesigned Apple Watch are expected to be the star of the show, there are a lot of other products in the pipeline that could make an appearance at the big event.
