Samsung, Google, & others formally back Apple in legal dispute with Qualcomm

Apple today has received support from a handful of tech companies in its ongoing legal dispute with Qualcomm. As reported by Reuters, the Computer & Communications Industry Association, which consists of tech companies such as Samsung, Intel, Google, Amazon, and more, today filed comments with the U.S. International Trade Commission arguing that an import ban on iPhones would hurt consumers…

What’s coming to Apple Music and Beats 1 in July 2017

We’re halfway through July, but exclusive Apple Music and Beats 1 content continues to be announced. In June, we finally saw the release of Apple’s oft-discussed Planet of the Apps series. While many readers shared they won’t be watching it, it remains as Apple’s first steps into original content. Carpool Karaoke which had been slated for Spring, will now see an official release date on August 8th.

Apple is reportedly working on electric car batteries with China’s biggest battery maker

Last year, Apple was rumored to be working on an autonomous all-electric car codenamed ‘Project Titan’. The company later confirmed development work on an autonomous driving platform and CEO Tim Cook even referred to it as “a core technology” for the company, but it showed signs of giving up on developing an actual car.
