We recently rounded up the best MIDI keyboards for Mac and Logic Pro X (2017 edition), and now it’s time to get portable. At this point in time, it’s hard for me to even believe that MIDI isn’t entirely wireless on every product that features it. But it is clear that some companies have been looking to the future for some time now, so we thought it would be good to run down the best wireless MIDI keyboards for Mac and iOS…
Wistron CEO let slip that upcoming iPhone will be waterproof and have wireless charging

As we move closer to the unveiling of the next generation iPhones, more manufacturers are talking about device details. This time CEO Robert Hwang of Wistron, Apple’s primary iPhone manufacturer in India, has confirmed that the upcoming iPhone will be waterproof and feature wireless charging (Nikkei).
A stroll through Apple Park reveals green landscape progressing [Gallery]
Apple Park is starting to look a lot more like a park as Apple makes rapid progress on the massive landscaping job and continues construction at the site. The images above and below give a good ground level look at the thousands of trees being planted around the main circular building on the 175-acre campus. These photos sent in by a 9to5Mac reader show how the site looked as of late last week.
While Apple announced back in February that Apple Park would be ready for employees to begin moving in by April, the site still appears to be more in construction mode and it’s unclear what Apple staff if any is actually already working at the new campus. The company is also expected to host future events at the 1000-seat Steve Jobs Theatre located at Apple Park, but chatter from construction workers is that finishing touches could go beyond the end of the year and the new iPhone unveiling expected to be Apple’s next event in September.

Apple supplier Largan confirms it is shipping 3D-sensing lenses later this year, likely destined for iPhone 8
A well-known Apple supplier, Largan Precision, has announced that it is shipping 3D depth-sensing lenses in the second half of 2017 (via Nikkei). Although it didn’t identify brands by name, industry experts believe that these camera components are for the iPhone 8.
The special sensors will enable face recognition functionality, allowing users of the high-end iPhone to unlock their device just by looking at the screen. Largan already supplies most of the rear camera lenses used in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
