High Sierra to be first version of macOS with support for virtual reality
macOS High Sierra is chock full of refinements and improvements, but one of the biggest changes comes with support for virtual reality. Apple Launches Metal 2 Developer Kit with support for External Graphics, VR headsets
Apple has announced that its new Metal 2 Developer Kit, which launches later today, will support external graphics units over Thunderbolt 3. That means that eGPU setups featuring units like the Akitio Node, will officially support AMD’s popular RX 580 GPU.
