Photos depict new 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro cases, with rear mic holes like $329 iPad

Whilst WWDC is typically focused on software announcements like iOS 11, this year several reports point to new hardware announcements including a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro model.

In line with that expectation, photos are now surfacing showing cases sized for the new 10.5-inch iPad. Similar to rumors for iPhone 8, Apple will shrink the bezels to fit a larger display in approximately the same physical chassis size as the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Apple officially launches ‘Today at Apple’ with special events at all 495 stores worldwide [Gallery]

Apple officially launched its Today at Apple initiative – combining workshops and creative performances – this weekend. The company says that it held special events at all 495 Apple Stores around the world, and showed off photos from many of them (below).

‘Today at Apple’ kicked off this weekend with new in-store programming around the world, including Photo Walks and Kids Hour at all 495 Apple stores. From Getting Started with Coding to How To: Sketch, Draw and Paint with iPad, stores collectively hosted 4,000 sessions a day, including some with very special guests …

iPhone 8 Touch ID location remains unclear as latest alleged leak shows rear fingerprint sensor below Apple logo

Although the iPhone 8 is apparently entering production verification testing this month, the rumor mill continues to disagree about several details of Apple’s upcoming radically-redesigned phone.

In this latest alleged schematics photo via Sneakleaks, an iPhone chassis is shown with a Touch ID fingerprint cutout below the Apple logo on the back of the device. This idea was last seen in an April leak. However, the rumors have not come to consensus and there are still many contradictory reports about the fate of the iPhone 8 Touch ID …

Logic Pros Review: The ‘Unique’ virtual analog synth and wild vowel filter comes to iOS

In this week’s episode of Logic Pros, we are taking a look at the new Unique iOS synth from Sugar-Bytes. The company has been making some of the most wild audio effects processors and instruments for quite some time now. Turnado, Effectrix, Artillery and the more recent Looperator provide some of the most interesting and crazy beat slicing/glitch effects out there.
