2018 Genesis G80 Sport arrives as latest with Apple’s CarPlay standard
Genesis Motors, Hyundai’s luxury car division, is today announcing the arrival of the latest vehicle with Apple’s in-dash CarPlay platform standard with its new Genesis G80 Sport. The vehicle is the company’s second to officially support CarPlay stock following the 2017 Genesis G80.
Feature Request: Meal logging from Apple’s Health app
Apple’s Health app in iOS 10 prominently displays Nutrition as one of the four main categories on the Health Data dashboard, but adding detailed information currently requires a third-party meal logging app with HealthKit support. Apple recommends a variety of solutions that work well including Lifesum and MyFitnessPal, but ultimately a native meal logging feature and first party food database would make the Health app much more useful.
Apple releases iTunes 12.6.1 w/ ‘minor app and performance improvements’
In addition to macOS 10.12.5, Apple has released a minor version update to iTunes for macOS. iTunes 12.6.1 includes ‘minor app and performance improvements’ according to release notes. The update is available through the Mac App Store now.
watchOS 3.2.2 update for Apple Watch now available
Apple is now rolling out the latest watchOS 3.2.2 software update for Apple Watch. The update focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements to watchOS 3.
tvOS 10.2.1 update for Apple TV now available
Apple is now rolling out the tvOS 10.2.1 software update for the fourth generation Apple TV. The update likely includes bug fixes and performance improvements to tvOS 10.
macOS 10.12.5 rolling out on the Mac App Store
Apple is officially rolling out the macOS 10.12.5 software update for all Mac users. macOS 10.12.5 is available as a free update through the Mac App Store.
