Just over 6 months ago, 2K released the third entry in the long running Mafia franchise for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game was praised for its treatment of the racially charged 1960’s era it was set in along with its interesting take on organized crime gameplay mechanics. In the meantime, players are now able to try out a lengthy free demo of the game on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in order to get a taste of New Bordeaux, 2K’s open-world take on New Orleans. Report: Amazon Prime Video coming to Apple TV at WWDC, Amazon to resume Apple TV sales
Last week Recode reported that Amazon and Apple were actively discussing plans to bring Prime Video to Apple TV later this year, and now Buzzfeed is reporting that yes, really, it’s happening and the deal is now official. Amazon Prime Video for Apple TV is expected to be introduced on stage at WWDC next month and launch later this summer, according to the report.

iTunes and Apple Music coming to the Windows Store this year
Last week Microsoft revealed a new version of its operating system called Windows 10 S that only runs software from the Windows Store — which means apps like Apple’s iTunes and Google’s Chrome won’t work. Today at Microsoft’s Build conference for developers, however, the company announced that Apple is working on bringing iTunes to the Windows Store after all.
Microsoft’s Xamarin Live Player for iPhone & iPad enables iOS app testing from Windows
Microsoft has released a new tool called Xamarin Live Player that lets PC users test and debug iOS apps without using a Mac. Submitting apps to the App Store still requires Xcode which only runs on a Mac, but developers working on Windows can now deploy apps to iOS for testing during development.

Osmo announces its latest iPad mixed reality game for kids, combining coding principles with music
Integrating real-world objects into a fun iPad game is Osmo’s brand; we reviewed the company’s drawing game, Osmo Monster, last year. Today, Osmo has announced the latest addition to its collection, Coding Jam. The game has kids placing physical tiles in front of the iPad display to create musical sequences and melodies.
The game introduces children to abstract coding concepts like loops and subroutines, through the motions of creating complicated snippets of music. For example, users can place a looping tile onto the table with a ‘2’ to have the enclosed sequence of sounds repeat two times.

If you find yourself hanging out for a while at a scenic spot, creating a timelapse video can be a great way to share the experience with friends.
The iPhone, of course, has a built-in timelapse feature – and a very clever one it is too. So if you want to use your iPhone or iPad to shoot, you’re good to go. But if you want to use another camera, Final Cut Pro X makes it a really simple process to create a timelapse video, regardless of whether you’re working from video footage or still photos.

SoundHound can now make an Apple Music playlist from songs you identify
SoundHound for iPhone and iPad is out with a new version that integrates with Apple Music in a few ways. For starters, if you’re an Apple Music subscriber and identify a song with SoundHound, the app can now add it to a SoundHound playlist in Apple Music automatically.
