Apple will still be here in 2075, says Woz, as original Apple I garage team get together
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has told USA Today that Apple will still be around in 2075 – alongside Google and Facebook.
Apple will be around a long time, like IBM (which was founded in 1911). Look at Apple’s cash ($246.1 billion, as of the end of its last fiscal quarter). It can invest in anything. It would be ridiculous to not expect them to be around (in 2075). The same goes for Google and Facebook.
He made the prediction ahead of the Silicon Valley Comic Con, whose theme is ‘The Future of Humanity: Where Will We Be in 2075?’ and said that he and Steve Jobs made that assumption from the start …

Sketchy drawings depict bezel-less iPhone 8 with Home Button, camera and speaker integrated behind screen
A sketchy series of images has been circulating this morning, supposedly showing an iPhone 8 prototype design with mockup renders and technical measurement drawings. The images have been shared by KK, which has a mixed record of accuracy.
The drawing is impressive, depicting an iPhone front dominated by screen with just 4mm of bezels on every side. However, the original sourcing is unclear and the details are pretty circumspect …

Rumor claims Apple TV to add multi-user login and Picture-in-Picture video with tvOS 11
Apple will almost certainly unveil tvOS 11 (along with iOS 11, macOS 10.13 and watchOS 4) at WWDC in June, but not much has been said about what new stuff these software updates will bring.

Apple now upgrading iPad 4th gen replacements to newer iPad Air 2 as stock dwindles
Customers in need of a whole unit replacement for their fourth generation iPad may now receive a newer and more capable iPad Air 2 as a substitute from Apple Stores and authorized service providers. Apple is implementing the new policy, allowing its repair staff to ship an iPad Air 2 for a unit replacement when stock of the aging and now discontinued 4th gen iPad isn’t available.

Here’s what the Hackintosh community wants in the new modular Mac Pro
The Hackintosh community is probably best described as a group that doesn’t love Apple’s hardware options for pros but would prefer not to give up macOS for Windows or another alternative.
They put together their own custom PC builds, and work together to come up with the necessary hacks to get macOS and the software they need running on the machines. Who better to ask what Apple should include in its upcoming modular Mac Pro than the pros that it has pushed away?
To find out what Hackintoshers want in the new machine, and maybe what would help bring back some pros Apple might have pushed away over the years, we’ve talked to the moderators at one of our favourite Hacktinosh communities, tonymacx86.com.
We also got some input from our own resident Hackintosh enthusiast (and YouTuber) Jeff Benjamin, and some other pros and gamers that have made the jump from Apple’s pro machines to a Hackintosh.
