Apple seeking ‘more than 20%’ stake in Toshiba’s chip business alongside Foxconn’s investment
Following earlier confusion about whether Apple or Foxconn was bidding for a stake in Toshiba’s chip-making division, it appears that the answer could be ‘both.’ Reuters cites a report by public broadcaster NHK that Apple would be making its own bid alongside the existing Foxconn one.

WWDC Wishlist: How Apple TV could improve with tvOS 11 this year
Apple TV has steadily been updated with new features since tvOS and the current hardware were introduced in late 2015, and we’re expecting to see even more this summer with tvOS 11 at WWDC.
Updates to tvOS 9 focused a lot on feature parity with the previous Apple TV and recent iOS updates, and tvOS 10 updates introduced the new TV app and single sign-on feature. Here’s what we’re hoping to see this year from tvOS 11 at Apple’s developer conference in June.

Apple Music launches new video concert series ‘House of Strombo’
Premiering with a first episode today, Apple Music is launching a new concert series called “House of Strombo” hosted by Canadian TV and radio personality George Stroumboulopoulos. The new series will include house party-like live performances from the host’s home in Toronto, Canada and will include both broadcasts and videos of the concerts on Apple Music, as well as interviews with artists and behind-the-scenes content.
Apple Music host and creative director Zane Lowe officially announced the show today on Beats 1 during an interview with Stroumboulopoulos.

Apple hits 96% renewable energy worldwide as suppliers join pledge for 100%
In an interview with Bloomberg, Apple’s Lisa Jackson has announced that the company has achieved 96% worldwide renewable energy up from 2015’s 93%. Already having been at 100% renewable energy in the United States, three more of the company’s worldwide suppliers have pledged to follow suit.
