Apple shares new demos of its proposed WebGPU browser engine
Earlier this year, Apple proposed a new GPU on the Web Community Group to work towards more powerful graphics on the web. The WebGPU standard Apple proposed is much more object-oriented than WebGPU and allows developers to create and store objects that represent state. Additionally, it allows for objects that can process a broader set of commands. This reduces the work needed to perform during a drawing operation.

Apple updates Safari Technology Preview to Release 27 with Web Inspector updates

YouTube TV officially launches in select U.S. markets on mobile and desktop
After first announcing the service back in February, today YouTube TV is officially launching in select U.S. markets.
The standalone TV service offers users 4 big networks and other channels with unlimited DVR functionality for $35 a month comes today to both mobile devices and desktop users in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Chicago ahead of a broader roll out.
