A survey of 6,000 consumers across three countries has found that Apple is ‘the most intimate brand’ – using a range of survey responses to measure the emotional connection people feel to a brand. It also had the highest score for ‘can’t live without this brand,’ with 59% of consumers ticking this box.

Behind Apple in the top 10 were Disney, Amazon, Harley Davidson, Netflix, Nintendo, Samsung, Whole Foods, BMW and Toyota.

While Spotify may lead in terms of subscribers, it’s already been proven that Apple Music can dominate even with its smaller user base. A new report from analytics firm Verto further highlights the sometimes underestimated reach of Apple Music.

Apple surely has lots of whiz-bang new features planned for the new flagship iPhone this fall, but the number one feature on my wish list this year is a radical new design. Given the choice between a new iPhone with the same design plus new features like wireless charging and facial recognition or a new iPhone with a new design and no new features, I’d absolutely choose the new design.
