T-Mobile announces free iPhone 7 promo for switchers + free MLB.TV & At Bat Premium for all customers
As it has done in the past, T-Mobile today kicked off its latest promotion offering switchers a free iPhone 7 (or an iPhone 7 Plus or higher capacity mobile for an extra cost).

Poll: Would you wait for the iPhone 8 if it shipped 1-2 months after the iPhone 7s & 7s Plus?
Imagine this possibility: Apple holds an iPhone event in September, unveils iterative iPhone 7s and 7s Plus upgrades shipping in 2-3 weeks, and a radically different iPhone 8 or iPhone Pro that won’t ship for another 4-6 weeks.
Even when the totally new iPhone does ship, supply is extremely constrained and only the very first pre-orders get stock before the end of the year. Would you be willing to wait it out for the dramatically different iPhone?

Feature Request: Dropbox-style shared folders and URL file sharing with iCloud Drive
Apple’s iCloud Drive feature has matured to the point that several months ago I stopped using Dropbox on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad without having to dramatically change any workflows. I still interact with Dropbox on the web once a week to produce the 9to5Mac Happy Hour podcast, but iCloud Drive could totally replace Dropbox for me with a few additional features…

‘Shazam for art’ app Smartify aims to educate visitors and art galleries alike
Shazam is one of my favorite apps. If I’m in a coffee shop or bar and hear a track I like, I can instantly find out what it is and check out the artist later on Apple Music. Smartify aims to do the same job for art, aiming to educate art gallery visitors and gallery owners alike, reports New Scientist.
