If Apple sold inductive wireless charging tech separate from iPhone 8, would you buy it? [Poll]

One of the long-running rumors for the iPhone 8 is wireless charging. Though there has been some back and forth as to what exact wireless technology the device will use, wireless charging has been one of the most consistent rumors.

Earlier today, however, a report claimed that Apple would sell the wireless charging accessory separately from the iPhone 8 itself.

Tim Cook talks with iPhone user battling cerebral palsy in visit to Glasgow retail store

As he continues making the rounds in Europe. Tim Cook made an appearance at Apple’s retail location in Glasgow. Report again claims Apple will add 5-inch iPhone to lineup, sell wireless charging tech separately

According to a new report from Macotakara, Apple will introduce a new 5-inch iPhone model to the lineup this year. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a new 5-inch iPhone model, though.

Additionally, today’s report, which cites “reliable sources in Taiwan,” only the all-glass model of the iPhone will support wireless charging this year, while Apple will also stop including the headphone jack adapter.

Apple CEO Tim Cook says he regards AR ‘as a big idea like the smartphone’

Tim Cook really wants people to know that he’s deeply interested in AR. The Apple CEO hypes augmented reality every chance he gets, and he’s doing it in the same way he teased the wrist as an interesting space before the Apple Watch and the living room as stuck in the 70s before tvOS.

During his week-long trip across Europe, Cook went as far as saying he regards AR “as a big idea like the smartphone” in an interview with The Independent.

Would you or have you changed banks for Apple Pay? [Poll]

We reported this morning that vice president of Apple Pay Jennifer Bailey recently shared her thoughts on the battle going on between Apple and Australia’s big banks.

In the new interview, Bailey made optimistic statements about the future of Apple Pay in Australia with one of the more interesting ones being “customers will say they are happy to switch banks to use it.” We’re curious to know, is this true for you?
