Fantastical has a new update out today for iPhone and iPad that delivers new iOS 10 features and enhancements plus a brand new iMessage sticker pack for the Messages app. Aside from fun and cute, Fantastical’s sticker pack is actually useful for communicating schedule-related messages.

AAPL stock opens up >5% after company reports record revenue, beats analyst expectations
Last night, Apple reported all-time record earnings with revenue topping $78.4 billion, beating analysts consensus. The stock market investors appear to be pleased with Apple’s results; AAPL stock opened up more than 5%.
The company reported sales of 78.3 million iPhones, 13 million iPads and 5.3 million Macs. Spiking at over $127 this morning, Apple stock is once again close to its all-time high of $135 after rallying following Trump’s presidential victory.

Apple AirPods silently receive bug fix firmware update to version 3.5.1
Apple has silently updated the Apple AirPods firmware to version 3.5.1, from 3.3.1, earlier today. The AirPods automatically update to the latest software when the earbuds are charging in the AirPods Case and close to a paired device. The new firmware does not appear to contain any new front-facing features.
There is no onscreen alert or notification that an update has taken place. You can however verify if your AirPods are up-to-date by checking the AirPods firmware version number in Settings on an iPhone …

Justin Long, the actor who played the Mac in the highly successful and long-running ‘Get a Mac’ ad campaign, is now appearing in an ad for the Chinese Android smartphone maker Huawei. Huawei’s ad agency told Campaign that Long’s starring role in the Apple ads was the main reason Huawei chose him.

Tim Cook: Hundreds of Apple employees affected by immigration ban, company considering legal action
Tim Cook has told the WSJ that hundreds of the company’s employees have been affected by Trump’s executive order on immigration, and says that Apple is considering taking legal action. He also said that the company would be supporting employee fundraising efforts for organizations providing relief to refugees.

Prince’s music reportedly coming to Apple Music, other platforms on February 12

While Apple has been able to win over certain streaming service holdouts, one artist is still limited in streaming availability: Prince. According to report from The New York Post, however, that will soon change. The report claims that Prince’s Warner Music Group albums will come to Apple Music on February 12th.

Tim Cook says he’s open to settling Qualcomm lawsuit, but expects a lengthy legal battle
One of the more pressing questions during Apple’s earning call earlier this afternoon centered on the company’s current litigation battle with Qualcomm. Toni Sacconaghi of Bernstein pressed Tim Cook for comments on Apple’s decision to sue Qualcomm, bringing up a past instance of Cook saying that he hated litigation:
“I’ve always hated litigation, and I continue to hate it, and I highly prefer to settle versus battle.”
