Nvidia releases new Pascal GPU drivers for macOS High Sierra users
Nvidia today has released drivers for its PCI-E graphics cards for users running the latest version of macOS High Sierra. The drivers are for Quadro and GeForce Pascal-based models and should bring compatibility for legacy Mac Pro users running High Sierra. The release also includes beta drivers for Thunderbolt 3 eGPU setups on the 5K iMac and MacBook Pro.

As we reported earlier, Apple has just released watchOS 4.1 beta 1 to developers, which brings the promised LTE music streaming to the Series 3 Apple Watch with LTE.
WatchOS 4.1 contains three notable features: First and foremost, the updated Music app allows access to your entire iCloud Music Library. This means that you’ll no longer have to sync songs in order to play them directly on your Apple Watch. watchOS 4: How to stop Now Playing and audio apps from automatically opening on Apple Watch
watchOS 4 includes a new default behavior to auto-launch audio apps when you wake the screen while playing audio on your Apple Watch or iPhone.
Auto-launching Now Playing can be useful when you’re playing music from the watch or a podcast from the phone for example. Instant access to play/pause and seek controls on the watch screen and the ability to spin the Digital Crown to adjust volume is really great when using AirPods since they lack physical controls. It’s sort of like the Now Playing card on the iPhone lock screen.
But this behavior isn’t always ideal on the Apple Watch. Luckily there’s a simple way to turn it off.

New betas show off iPhone X lock screen and home screen experience

Apple just dropped new developer betas for each platform, and watchOS 4.1 beta appears to include promised Apple Music streaming and the new Radio app. Apple promised both new features as coming in October during the Apple Watch Series 3 announcement.

Delta enabling free in-flight iMessage, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger use starting Sunday
Good news for passengers flying Delta: the airline is enabling free in-flight iMessage use on most flights starting Sunday. That means you can use your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to send and receive those blue messages without paying up for data. Delta says the new complimentary in-flight messaging perk, which also includes WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, is part of a “multi-billion dollar investment in the customer experience.”
Report: Apple wants Breaking Bad talent, shopping for Game of Thrones-style drama
Despite an awkward start to the original content scene with Planet of the Apps and Carpool Karaoke, Apple appears to be getting serious with its next TV series. Apple poached two Sony Television executives — Jamie Ehrlicht and Zack Van Amburg — back in June, and a new report says the duo has been shopping for high profile TV talent including Breaking Bad veterans.
