Apple inviting UK website visitors to help victims of London’s Grenfell Tower fire
As it often does after a disaster, Apple is inviting website visitors to contribute to a fundraising appeal – this time for victims of the Grenfell Tower fire in London in which 79 people are either confirmed or presumed to have lost their lives.
The 24-floor residential tower block, devoted to social housing, caught fire overnight on 14th June after a fridge-freezer burst into flames. Which Fictional Boss Are You? [Flowchart]
I know I’m literally ten years late to this, but I just started watching Mad Men on Netflix. And guys — newsflash — it’s a really good show.
The old school ad strategies, the fun outfits, the drama — I love it all. Except Don Draper’s management style. That, in my humble opinion, could use a little work.
I know my stance might be colored by several generation gaps. I’m a millennial, and according to some reports, we need to be told we’re smart and wonderful every two seconds or we turn to avocado toast dust — but it seems to me that Draper could afford to encourage his team a little bit more. Or at the very least, not rely so heavily on cryptic one-liners and mysterious stares to drive the direction of major projects.
I probably won’t ever relate to Don Draper’s unconventional leadership style on Mad Men, but there are plenty of other fictional bosses from TV and film to aspire to — or avoid becoming.

Apple Pay loyalty card support coming to Quiznos, Smashburger, and more restaurants
Apple Pay lets you make purchases in stores with your iPhone or Apple Watch with security and convenience, and select retailers like Walgreens also support Apple Pay-based reward cards. Apple donating a portion of proceeds from Pride Edition Apple Watch band sales to LGBTQ advocacy groups
Earlier this month Apple started selling a special edition version of its Woven Nylon Apple Watch band called Pride Edition.
Featuring the seven colors of the rainbow, the Pride Edition Woven Nylon band is very similar to the limited edition rainbow Apple Watch band gifted to employees who participated in last year’s San Francisco Pride parade.
