Kim Kardashian West ‘apologizes for breaking the App Store’ after issues with downloads of Kimoji app

Kim Kardashian West indulged in a spot of humblebrag tweeting after her Kimoji emoticon app shot to the top of the App Store.

Apple, I'm so sorry I broke your App Store!!!

While the claim to have crashed the App Store appears to have been something of an exaggeration, it does appear true that many were for a time unable to download the app, with The Drum reporting that downloads peaked at 9,000 per second.

The reality TV star raked in double-digit millions from her Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app last year.

Claims that human beings are continuing to evolve may be somewhat exaggerated.
